One of the more popular family stops, Seaforth has plenty of parking with extra long stretches of sand, beach and water along the western shore of Jordan Lake. Towering trees line entrance leading to a large restroom building with outdoor showers at the rear. Sand volleyball courts, a childrens playground and a playscape outline the rest area.
Beaches start beyond the restrooms and are enveloped by tall trees and Jordan Lake giving it a secluded beach ambiance. The sand stretches for miles allowing visitors to claim their own small slice of heaven. The beaches lead to cool and shaded yet open picnic area allowing beach goes to take a break from the sunshine.
Life jacket are available nearby as there are no lifeguards on duty. Seaforth beach water are demarcated with bight floaties about 20 yards out. Buoy markers are 30 yards out (20 years past floaties) preventing boats and jet skies from endangering beach goers.
